Freeze extra portions of fresh ingredients to extend their shelf life or buy pre-frozen ingredients at the grocery store. Regardless of whether you choose to freeze them yourself or buy them at the store, having a freezer stocked with nutritious ingredients will allow you to easily make healthy and affordable meals.
NOTE: When buying frozen ingredients at the store, be sure to look for ones without added fat, salt, or sugar.
